It includes the regulation of the quality of raw materials, assemblies, products and components; services related to production and management, production and inspection processes. Any problems, should be reported to Lance Curtin. Problems will be resolved efficiently and promptly. Our staff undergo specific training to complete their allocated jobs, and are offered continuing personal development.

The business is run by qualified Cabinet Makers, and Chaucer Cabinets are members of the Cabinet Makers Association Victoria (CMA) and are Registered Builders Practitioners (RBP). DB-L 1140.

At Chaucer Cabinets we offer a life-time guarantee on our hinges and drawer runners. Vinyl doors have a 7 year guarantee and on the general cabinetry and workmanship we offer a 2 year industry standard guarantee.

What makes the difference? Aren't all kitchens manufactured the same way?

The simple answer is they're not.

The inside cabinetry (carcass) and the doors and panels can be made from materials which have less density.

Thermo forming (Vinyl) covering varies from suppliers and imports can be thinner and lighter and less resistant to ultra violet rays (UV).

Clear Lacquer and Painted finishes can vary in the quality of the brand and paint as well as the amount of coats applied.

Timber doors can be made from timber which isn't batched (Cut from the same tree).

The method of cabinet construction can also make a difference, they can be joined by staples, glued or drilled, screwed together or all three methods can be combined.

Hinges and fittings and imports can also be made from lighter steel.

Bench top laminate and man made stone can also be made from materials which are not as dense as others available.

In short these are just a few of the ways that the material cost can be reduced, without the labour cost being reduced, which is more often the case when kitchen cabinets and bench tops are made in Asia and imported by Companies which don't manufacture their own cabinets.

We work with high quality AU approved kitchen supplier products such as Laminex, Formica, Polytech and International branded products such as Hettich, Hafele, Caesar Stone, German and Italian made kitchen hardware and kitchen wireware.
